  This place is very sweet. Angel is amazing! I cant say enough good things about her! Everyone here is really nice tho! The rooms are spacious enough, the beds comfy and they offer a small breakfast . The area downtown you have to be a little guarded, but, it's very close to alot of great small businesses..

  I stayed at this hotel the night of April 18th. We booked this room because my partner had to go in for a complex heart procedure the next morning, and the water in my condo complex was not working. He needed a place to shower before going to the hospital, so even though we live in town, we had to find a hotel at the last minute. We asked for a ground floor room because of his health. The wonderful woman on the front desk called me in the early afternoon to tell me a ground floor room was not going to be availble due to a burst pipe. She said we could have a second floor room, but it was a smoking room, so would not smell great. She had gone to the trouble to find us a room elsewhere in Colorado Springs, which I think was above and beyond what I could have hoped for! There were hardly any rooms left in the whole town due to some NASA event being held in town. But she, by golly, called around until she found us one. Since the hotel she found for us was not in an area I did not want to stay in, we opted for the second floor room, and she had it aired out for us. I can tell you that, in all my years of traveling, I have never felt better cared for. I cannot remember her name, but this woman is a real gem! She really cared about our situation. She took a personal interest in making sure we had the best situation possible, given our medical reasons for being there. If I had a business (which I don't because I am retired), I would steal this woman away from this hotel and hire her! The woman that checked us out on April 19th was also delightful. She was friendly and kind. Our room was clean and had everything in it that we needed. This is an older property, so it is a bit frayed around the edges. I do not mind this, but I wanted to include this comment in the review, so people would not be surprised.

  My friend and I went to Colorado Springs for a short trip and stayed in this hotel for a couple days. Don't be fooled by the name, yes it says it's economic, but the room was way beyond my expectations. Nice and spacious, fully equipped kitchen (except for pots and pans), a full king sized bed, nice clean bathrooms, full HD TV with TV cable, daily room service. For us who were going around town and visiting, this place was far more than enough. They do state that they have breakfast included, but in reality is just some free coffee, juices and some granola bars. But for the price we paid, I was really satisfied. Will most likely come back here if I'm visiting Colorado Springs again.

  Overall conversation over the phone with the front desk was horrible.. she could not tell me where the exact location of the motel was at.. there's no room service and the customer service is horrible and ghetto and I still have not gotten my money back...I was forced to pay a high way roberry deposit of over $50 that she charged me for the motel fee even though nothing in my room was broken or stolen or destroyed . I paid with a credit card and my money still has not been put back on my card after 5 days!

  Is okay if you’re literally just looking for a place to sleep and don’t mind things a little dirty. Floors not swept. Streaks on the floor. Had to wipe down the toilet seat. Burn marks on the sheets. Smelled like cigarettes. AC and fan doesn’t really work well. Can hear every single creak and footstep from the room above you. And for some reason the person above me must have been getting they steps in at 545 in the morning. Key card will get demagnetized if in pocket with a phone or credit card for a second which is where people just instinctively put things. Location is good and there’s a tiny pool and that’s literally the only decent things about this place. The fact that is rated 3 stars currently is very generous. Wish I had just shelled out more money for a more relaxing place to sleep.
