  Excellent place to work out, great swimming area. Clean and spacious, not crowded and full of testosterone jocks. Definitely a place to check out!

  I have been a member of this gym for about a year and a half now and I LOVE IT. I have belonged, over many decades, to many NYC gyms; none of them are perfect but this sure comes close! The staff, the entire staff, is so welcoming and friendly. Genuinely so. The facilities are unbeatable. BIG workout room for free weights and exercise machines, really high ceilings and lots of natural light. Same goes for the separate room adjoining it for stretching and other floor exercises. Good schedule for workout classes and the pool, although I personally don't swim, looks great. Locker rooms are large and super clean. Plenty of fresh towels. They have a personal trainer, Otto, who has a cult following. I am among those, as Otto has been instrumental in getting me back into shape after a frozen shoulder. He really knows his stuff. I go to workout about five times a week and always leave . . . . always . . . . . feeling SO much better, physically as well as mentally. It's a really positive thing to do for yourself.

  Keep charging you when you tell them you just want to do the trial membership and don't live in Brooklyn. Gym is nice membership consultant is a scum

  I like the Olympic size indoor pool on the 7th floor. The classes are all great specially the hydro fit classes. Good equipment never too crowded. Nice trainers that really help motivate. The rug in the ladies locker is not very nice.

  It's usually fairly empty. Lots of space for a stretching. Indoor, heated lap pool is pretty nice.
