::Awesome venue for live music. Some great National and local acts play here regularly. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

::This might be one of my favorite places to go in Houston. I love it.

::Went to the recent Code Orange show and enjoyed it immensely. Even though this is a dive venue, the professional stage setup and no fuss ticket sale set this apart from your local drunk tank.

::A great place for people who enjoy classic rock and would like to hang out, grab a beer, and being loud. Maybe I need more practice being social but I got the feeling there was a crowd they were used to. For the most part, its an older crowd of 30+, (personal experience here ) which as a college student just trying it out alone, wasn't the best experience. This can be easily resolved (if that's an issue like it was for me) by bringing friends! Think hole in the wall rock and roll bar you see in the movies. That's this place and it definitely fits that niche.

::The black dahlia was great the other night, good acoustics for metal. Fair drink prices I suppose. I wish I had known it was a Pegstar venue before hand. All in all a good place to see your favorite bands.
