  As an US trained physician I was skeptical about acupuncture as there are many schools here that promise acupuncture licensure quite readily and as I feel training in this specialty needs more then a couple years. I searched around the area as many of my patients asked me about the efficacy of acupuncture. I was intrigued by Dr. Lee's background and achievements. By learning traditional Chinese medicine (herbal and acupuncture) then attending the very prestigious Beijing medical school in China, he has certainly proved his worth to medicine. Most acupuncturists have never gone to medical school as it isn't a requirement, and those that do often never return to acupuncture. His titles are impressive as well: the President of the American Acupuncturist Association, membership in the World Acupuncture Organization, and he is also a NCCA DPL Herbalist. I decided to take a step further from just researching and visit Dr. Lee. To me, his diagnostic skills were beyond belief, my medical education never once taught me pulse reading or tongue checks, and through this he was able to elicit my past medical history with minimal information from me. After a session of acupuncture I was immediately impressed! Dr. Lee's dedication to traditional Chinese medicine is unmatched, especially in comparison to all others on the island. I have recommended patients to him, I myself am a patient of his, and I will continue to go and recommend him as long as I physically can.
