::My dogs always love the staff here. I appreciate the time they spend with me to ensure I understand exactly what my options are and help me make an educated decision for my fur baby's care.

::DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE! The owner, Dr. Flores lied to us repeatedly - her actions are completely unethical as well as deceiving - and therefore she is not to be trusted. She is both incompetent and simply out to pad her her bill, to the detriment of both the animals and owners she is working on. We have been bringing our dog to DTLA vets for 4 years now - we have spent thousands of dollars here and trusted them completely - and it saddens me to no end that I now have to leave this review. In fact, this last experience makes me question all of the prior veterinary work we have had here. Full story and More details: During a routine examination we were told that our dog needed a teeth cleaning, and “possibly” to get teeth extracted as they believed there were periodontal issues. We were also informed that they would send us an estimate, however “wouldn’t know” what was necessary until our dog was anesthetized and they took x rays. As we care deeply about our dog we of course booked her in immediately to start this process. Our next appointment was for required blood testing for anesthesia - At this appointment, we were asked if we also wanted to add yet more testing (for an additional 200$) - when we asked the tech why and what it was, we were told "it was extra testing “ and covered the same items. We were a bit confused, and asked what the benefit was and if it was necessary - We were then again told it "wasn’t necessary, just extra” and wouldn’t give us any more info not covered by the other test. This should have set off alarm bells, but we waved it off as we thought they were just being ultra cautious. Day of appointment - We dropped off our dog at 8 AM. We spent 45 min with Dr. Flores going over in extensive detail what exactly she would be doing. She repeatedly promised us multiple times that she would GET OUR CONSENT BEFORE PULLING ANY TEETH. Also. that if we did not feel comfortable pulling teeth that she could just do a cleaning and we could come back later for that. In fact, we had her guarantee that she would calling us during the cleaning to go over any issues BEFORE any decisions were made. We called to check in after the supposed appointment time, and were told that the animal before “had major unforeseeable issues” and therefore our time was pushed back. Once more, this should have set off alarm bells - Here is where things went VERY BAD, very quickly. LIE# 1 - Dr. Flores finally called us at 3 pm - She informed us that “ this is much worse than we thought and she will need at least 10 teeth pulled.” Please note the “will need” portion of this sentence, as we come to find out later…. LIE#2 - We expressed to her that this was too invasive for us - given what we were told in advance, we would like to take the X-rays to a dentist for a second look and DO NOT PULL ANY TEETH. To which Dr. Flores replied (direct quote), “ Let me augur a second option, what if we pull just the front bottom four today and then you can take her in to a dog dentist and they can possibly save some of the others.” We denied this suggestion again and stated PLEASE DO NOT PULL ANY TEETH. LIE#3 - Dr. Flores then replied,”I think we HAVE TO pull the teeth, they are basically just laying there after the cleaning.” We then asked her what this meant, and after repeatedly trying to skirt the issue she finally admitted that she had indeed ALREADY PULLED 4 TEETH WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL. At one point she actually argued that they actually fell out during cleaning - Yet somehow she was trying to deceive us so we would agree to have them pulled and have to pay her for it!!! When we called her on this she admitted she lied to us.
