  The old days of being afraid of going to the dentist is gone. Welcome to Islip Dental. You’re welcomed by the very friendly office staff and you can sit in the very comfortable reception area. I was always nervous about the cleanings, but the hygienists will put you right at ease. Dr Bob treats you with kindness and compassion and answers any and every question you may have.   My family and I have been very happy patients of Dr. Bottner's for many years. He and his staff are so welcoming and courteous. A few years back I became ill with strange symptoms that no doctor could figure out. I had been suffering for a while, seen a couple of different docs. One day, I was seeing Dr. Bob for my check up and he asked me what was going on in my life (as he often does). I told him about my mystery illness. He continued with my check up and diagnosed from looking in my mouth that I had Candida. He presecribed a mouthwash to treat the condition and bam, that was it! I was thrilled that he found and fixed my problem with such ease, especially when other docs could not. I am forever grateful to him. He is an outstanding dentist and a warm, caring individual, too.

  When I came into to this office I felt right at home! The front desk staff is very welcoming and my hygienist made a check up appointment actually relaxing. Dr. Bottner was very thorough and explained everything in a way that I can understand and feel comfortable with the treatment I needed done. I'm very happy with my visit and would definitely recommend to my family and friends!
