::My wife and I have experienced the worst service with Cigna with both the practice and corporate insurance. My son received a circumcision at a week old at South Mountain Cigna office by Dr. Mark Morales and a few months down the road with complications that resulted in an outpatient surgery to correct the mistakes made by Dr. Morales. When we called to file a complaint in hopes of not only getting a refund for the original procedure but also to have them pay for the corrective procedure they had no file of him ever getting it done, in fact they never submitted the claim to our insurance. After days of trying to prove our son had the procedure at their office a file miraculously showed up. They also quickly submitted the claim to the insurance which we no longer had due to my change of workplace. They were two months past the allowed window by law to submit their paperwork. After months of hassle with Cigna and the run around we finally got an answer that they cannot help us because we no longer have their insurance. I don't see how it matters what insurance we currently have because the botched procedure was done under Cigna at the time. We are out $2500 deductible with our current insurance due to their negligence. No 6 month old baby should have to be put under for what should have been a simple procedure. I urge you not to use Cigna or at the very least Dr. Morales.
