My kids began seeing Dr. Kitsos at age 2 for my daughter and at age 3 for my son. Dr. Kitsos has a great reputation and she came highly recommended to us from several moms at our nursery school. When calling to make our first appointment, we were told that it's recommended to come in the morning, especially with very young children, because in their experience a well-rested child is more responsive and will cooperate better to provide for a more pleasurable experience. We made our appointment for 9am. My kids (usually) hate going to the pediatrician so I was really nervous about their first dental visit but everything went great! During their first appointment Dr. Kitsos was really fantastic and patient with my kids. She was especially great with my sensitive little girl. She showed them how to brush their teeth with a Nemo doll and large toothbrush -- my kids loved that! On the way out, my 3 year old son got to choose a small toy dinosaur from the "treasure chest" and my 2 year old daughter was offered a princess sticker. My kids are very comfortable with her and that makes me very happy!! She is wonderful!

My daughter began seeing Dr. Kitsos at age 3 with an unusual dental issue that requires her to receive care every 3 months. I credit Dr. Kitsos' warm personality, no-nonsense dental care and the spectacular office decor (clean, bright and FILLED with kid friendly distractions) with making dental visits something my kid loves. Can you imagine a 4 year old who refuses to eat gummy bears? Mine does "because Dr. Kitsos says it makes my teeth sick!".
