  Prices for gas are insane here. Ever since it became a shell its lost its touch. I'll just drive on down to AMPM arco 24th st by the Mcdonalds.

  I'm a frequent flyer at the L street Chevron for the last 4 years and really enjoy the friendly service, decent coffee, great corn dogs and convenience. The staff are particularly nice. However, lately one of the managers by the name of Trina makes me uncomfortable when I come in as if I'm not welcome. She seems to resent my familiarity with the staff. So this review is intended for Frank who I know by site and enjoy. Whats up? Is customer service not the priority. Its hard for me not to drop in for coffee as it is my regular stop almost daily. Can't go by without dropping in on my way into town from Rio Bravo. One employee in particular makes sure the coffee is fresh, the corn dogs are better than the fair and the biscuits and gravy are great. I brag to all my friends about my friends at the Chevron on L street. If this continues, I have options such as the Starbucks next door or the Chevron car wash down the street.

  On our way through the first time we stopped at the nearby shell station. My husband said the men's bathroom was dirty and smelled; we stopped somewhere else for him to use the bathroom. On the way back we tried this chevron, even though the gas was a lot more expensive. BIG MISTAKE. The women's bathroom was filthy, with fecal matter on the seat of the first stall and god-knows-what on the seat of the third. I let them know and they were in no rush to clean the bathroom. I tried again before we left and used the one relatively clean stall. My husband said these bathrooms were just as bad as shell's. If you have to go to one of these, use the shell. At least the bathroom is cleaner.

  Terrible customer service. I went in to put money on the pump and the employee tells me to wait a minute because there is a customer still looking for items to add to his order. So I wait a few moments, look back, and see the other customer taking is time circling the store still looking for stuff. I just stand there and wait and the employee (Wed Aug. 16, 2017 at 1720) just stands there too. Like HELLO DUDE- you can easily cancel the transaction and help the customer who is ready and in a hurry but NOOOO. The guy just stands there. I walked out and will never go back. Hey Chevron- if you don't want to lose business, retrain your employees to be more competent. My suggestion to others is AVOID THISGAS STATION- IT IS A WASTE OF TIME.

  We stopped on the way back from the Kern. Place was clean with a great selection of snacks and drinks. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was efficient, 2 registers in action and the wait was short to pay for a drink.
