I love downtown Indy I love the fact that it's growing and getting better every day I came back here in 1990 and it was like a desert there was nobody there nobody is walking around and no shopping and I remember it from when I grew up here where it was a lot of things going on so I'm glad to see is on his way back to that and everything has gone to the suburbs

Play hopscotch over the homeless for fun. They’re everywhere.

I loved it. Great City. Had dinner at Oceanaire, then went and had a martini and a cigar at Nikki Blaines. Stopped for a beer or two at Scottys DawgHouse, then went and grabbed some candy in the morning at that crazy candy store (don't remeber the name) before I went to the Indiana State Fair. Good weekend. I don't think I'll be back as I dint have any reason to, but I really enjoyed myself. Thanks fkr the great memories!!!

I felt relatively safe, and was able to travel by foot with ease. Not impressed with lack of public transport, but no worse than most US cities. Some lovely historical buildings and a variety of interesting local businesses, as well as familiar chains. If you need a restroom, you may be looking for a long while before finding one open to the public.
