  The Doubletree is a great place to stay in downtown Columbus. Located right across the street from the capital building, it's very close to many sights and easy access to anything you may need during your stay. The river views from the hotel are amazing, and the windows are large to showcase that. When I checked in I also received a delicious chocolate chip raisin cookie upon check-in, which is nice. The hotel is located on top of the parking garage for easy access.

  Stayed at this hotel in Columbus downtown. Love receiving the two bottles of water and the big cookie. Liked the buffet breakfast. Nice large suites with enough room for three goals. Glad there were shuttles to and from the convention center.

  I wish I could give this zero stars. I was given the wrong room style upon check in. Not the type I was promised via the representative online Hilton chat. The staff did their best to accommodate this mistake. However, the room was so sub-par nothing could ever make up for this. There were no trash cans in the room, none... we had to call for one. The air conditioning was non-existent, we had it set on 63 while we went out and about and it never cooled down. I'm not even sure the room was cleaned before we checked in as there was a large clipped fingernail on the bedroom floor beside the bed, hairs on the bathroom floor and a white substance all over each wall in the room. The mirror looked as if it had never been cleaned before, with hand prints and streaks all over it. I could continue with the list but at this point its useless! I was so disgusted with the whole situation, as a frequent traveler I expect more from a Hilton property!

  Stayed here the night during my wedding in Columbus, the staff and hotel was great. centrally located for us. The accommodations were nice and clean. Fancy but not extravagant. Would recommend for anyone staying near downtown Columbus.

  I had read reviews after booking this hotel. I was nervous after reading the reviews and was pleasantly surprised to see that most of the reviews written were false. The parking garage is not hard to find at all, it is in a gated garage located to the hotel. Columbus in general is a very historical city, so the decor matches the beautiful building it is in. Our room was just as i envisioned. Of course there will always be minor details that every hotel can update, but the staff was wonderful. The hotel was in a great location overlooking the river.
