::Wow!!! Donkeys lives up to their long-standing reputation of an amazing Philly cheesteak shop despite being located in Camden and offered on a poppy seed round roll. Flavor profile is amazing, leaning more towards roast beef and stacked similarly. Bucket list cheese steak experience.

::This place is a Mecca for cheese steak lovers as they offer a delicious - some may even say superior - alternative to the traditional Philadelphia cheese steak. And the atmosphere is legit dive bar and trust me that's a good thing. If you haven't tried a Donkeys Place cheese steak you need to! With its round poppy seed kaiser roll, fried onions, cheese and lots of delicious meat stuffed in, your in for a mouth watering culinary experience and you can wash it down with the libation of your choice as they also serve alcohol. You definitely won't be disappointed! Anthony Bourdain featured Donkeys Place in his Parts Unknown New Jersey episode and also loved their take on the Philly cheese steak.

::Great spot to have a cheesesteak. It's not a traditional take since it's on a poppy seed bun but it's so delicious! I loved the spicy pepper mix and loaded up my sandwich with it. The spicy pickle and stuffed cherry pepper were also great additions. Couldn't ask for more!

::Great cheesesteak, even in western Canada Donkey’s Place’s reputation is known. It did not disappoint. The sandwiches are huge so come prepared. Best eaten fresh in the restaurant as they will get soggy if they sit in the bag too long. If I lived anywhere close I would certainly come back.

::This place is amazing! It's small, but definitely is busy. We came in around 11:30a and there was a line of people on the inside waiting for their orders. We were able to grab a table tho. The menu is simple, but SO DELICIOUS!!! The amount of onions you get is out of this world and there is an option to add more. The fries have a yummy seasoning and the cheese just enhanced the flavor. There are cool t-shirts to purchase and above all else, everyone is SO friendly including the customer base. We got our food around 12p and by then people were looking for spots to sit and eat at so I do recommended to come in a bit earlier to beat any rushes they might have. Definitely worth the wait!
