  Love Love Love this place. Very polite & considerate employee's. Celebrated 2 Birthdays there, it was awesome. The senory is great & clean. Food is great as well.

  1 star is the lowest I could rate it, if there was lower I would surely rate it that. The food was average and atmosphere wasn't very inviting but that aside the service was utterly atrocious. We were basically ignored and the waitress only showed up to take our order and give us our check. Never asking us if we needed anything or acknowledging us when we called for any of them (guess their phones were more important). Then the kicker is when she swiped both mine and my wife's card to only say it was declined because of the chips on our cards and then when I got up and said it was not us but her or her equipment, the cards miraculously worked. Can you say shady or suspect?!? It's easy to say that we didn't enjoy my wife's birthday dinner and that we won't frequent that establishment again. It was the worst experience we've ever had at any of City Islands many other restaurants.

  The appetizers were good, the drinks and the waiter was attentive. It was absolutely freezing however. It felt as if there was no heat circulation. The music could have been better as far as sound. There was also no hot water in the bathroom.

  I gave it 3 stars due to the decor. I like the clean white esthetic. Unfortunately the charm ends there. The food was edible but in no way special. The wine service or lack of was shocking. We waited over 20 minutes for a bottle of wine. There were only 3 other tables full so it wasn't as if our waiter was busy. We finally went outside to smoke while we waited for our wine. We came back to the table to find our red wine in a bucket of ice! It was opened and our glasses full. The most basic service would require the waiter to present the bottle, open in front of us and pour a taste. This place needs to train their staff properly. On a positive note, the manager was friendly and a glass of Sangrua was refreshing and quite delicious.
