::Last night I ordered a large, two topping pizza online for $5.99. The $5.99 for a two topping pizza is a special they are running for carry out. The website said my pizza would be ready by 8:23pm. I gave them a little more time and arrived at 8:40pm. I gave them my name but they couldn't find my order at first. The girl walks off to get someone else. A man who had been sitting there waiting for his order mentioned that he had been sitting there for quite some time after ordering online as well and they kept telling him 10 more minutes every time he would ask. A different girl comes back to tell me that it would be a few minutes before my pizza would be ready. I ask just how long a few minutes would be. While the young girl was nice and polite enough, she danced around the question. I asked her specifically how long it would be three times. She reluctantly finally told me that it would be about an hour. When I asked her why they were so backed up and why did the website tell me my pizza would be ready by 8:23 when in fact my pizza wasn't going to be ready until at least 10pm, she replied that it's a holiday weekend, they had several trainees, and that the large carry out special was the cause of increased, unusual large orders... and that "corporate hates us". I asked to speak to a manager but was told she was too busy on the line cooking to come and talk to me. I wasn't happy but I wasn't rude either. I was offered a refund twice instead of letting me talk to a manager. I accepted the refund and so another girl, I'm assuming the manager, came to do my refund. I asked if it would go straight back onto my card. Without looking up, and an annoyed look on her face, the girl stated that yes it would go straight back on my card. I stood there and waited to make sure. I guess she didn't like the fact I was waiting because she looked up at me and stated, pretty rudely, "I said it'll go back on your card... " as if she wanted me to just leave. After the refund was complete, she walked off. No apology, no nothing from her. The first girl did apologize. So, I went to Pizza Hut instead. For $1.00ish more, I got my 2 topping, large pizza in just under 15 minutes. Even though it was a holiday weekend, they had increased orders because of the online carry out special, people dining in restaurant, and having new people in training (I asked). After thanking them and explaining what had just happened at Domino's, they apologized for them and offered me a free fountain drink for my troubles. Imagine that. Not only great customer service, but great customer service in regards for terrible service from their "rival" pizza place, and done in a timely fashion. Since "corporate hates" that particular Domino's location, it would explain why the customer service sucks. While I still wouldn't have been able to wait until at least 10pm (almost 2 hours from the time I placed my online order), and wouldn't have accepted a freebie, I wouldn't have been as annoyed had they offered something besides bad service, bad attitude, and lame excuses.

::Wow, I am a convert from Pizza Hut. I couldn't get delivery past 10 pm, no notice after I logged in and out my order, so I went to Dominoes . I'm a convert for life, thank you!

::Horrible service and staff. Manager Daniel is rude. Pizza was late and cold. When I called to check where my pizza was “manager” Daniel said rudely “it’s on it way. It’s been on it’s way for a while now.” When the driver got here it was 15 mins after my call and was cold. Used to never have a problem with this store. But today was messed up. I understand being busy, but customer service and being friendly is a must. No apologies or anything. Didn’t even want to give it one star.

::I used to live around the corner from this place and never had a problem. I moved about a year ago, but come back to town often. The past 4 times I’ve ordered from here have been an issue, wether it’s been rude staff, crappy pizza, or whatever. There’s always an issue. The first time I got crappy pizza I figured it was just an accident. The incident kept on repeating and the staff was so rude I figured I wouldn’t even bother since it’s not like they would actually do anything. I’m not sure if there was a change of staff or management or anything but Jesus Christ step it up. Save your time and order Pizza Hut instead. At least if they mess up they’re nice about it.
