  Very good medium sized dollar store. I like dollar tree since its a true dollar store not 1.00 and up store. They have quite a bit of frozen vegetarian foods that don't have a lot of garbage in it like the spring rolls and Jamaican vegetable patties and lots if frozen vegetables and seasonings and spices. Lines can be long in peak hours.

  Dollar tree is a national chain that I have visited in other places. This is my first Calle Ocho experience and it had more Latin options ( of course). This location was busy, well stocked and congenial. ( The one in my home town resembles a tornado aftermath towards the end of the day.) Go for snacks, cleaning supplies and holiday decorations.

  Well, I usually go to buy gift bags, dog bags, balloons, and many other things (bc usually I go with a "planned idea" of what I am going to buy i.e. spend a few dollars, and then I end up buying so many other things ... like five times more than that), and because I was going to a "dollar store" I never expected customer service to be good, I was never greeted or smiled at. BUT a few months to now, I have noticed that the personnel at this location is greeting me, saying thank you, smiling, and THAT definitely makes me end up having a great purchase experience. I mean, like, hey! It's a very rewarding and comforting to know that even when I am spending a few dollars, I can always return not only for the good prices and the crazy variety of products but also for the great service this store offers. :)
