I came here because the Bloomington location was closed. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes bc I knew exactly what I needed. The cashier was very chatty to the two customers before me but didn't even greet me. Another customer came in and as she is taking my $$ she said "my god people. Don't you have anything better to do than come here" (mind you, it was 9pm and they close at 10pm) I was going to write a one star but didn't due to the fact that I got what I came for. But the cashier's attitude was extremely offputting. I also never complain and will rave to managers about employees good customer service so it took alot for me to write this.

Went to the Dollar Store right before Easter to get a bunch of treats and whatnot to stuff into eggs for an Egg hunt. They had a lot of what we needed for the right price. The clientele is kinda trashy here, but I guess I fit right in, lol. If you are prim and proper you might feel out of your element, but you probably wouldn't be shopping at a Dollar Store anyways. They sell mylar balloons for $1 each (which is a pretty decent deal) if you are into wasting the precious little helium we have left. The employees are usually a bit on the weird side, but they're my people so I don't feel too bad about saying that. I would stay away from the canned food they sell. Canned oysters and stuffed olives just seem like a bad case of the runs if you get them from a dollar store. They might be good, but I don't have the courage to try.

This is the best Dollar Tree in the Twin Cities! Huge selection, well stocked, and clean. When I went in today they only had one cashier, but nobody waited long because he was fast, efficient, and friendly. I understand right now that it's a struggle for all retail locations to find good employees, so I have no complaints that they only had one awesome cashier instead of two bad ones! I have a Dollar Tree just a minute down the street from me, but I purposefully drive the extra ten minutes to this location.
