  Faded glory, but this downtown classic remains an important spot for business lunches and the after work cocktail debrief and rendezvous. Dobson's mussel bisque is still a must start to any meal - yes to the sherry. The Dobson burger surpassed my modest expectations but there are many good menu choices. Paul still keeps his watchful eye on the proceedings. Visit soon.

  We had a nice lunch here. Really neat place with a cool history. And the food was great.

  Without reservations they sat us outside next to the heater. It was so wonderful, it was quiet, warm and almost had a feel of being in Europe. Dinner was great!!!

  Nice atmosphere. Easy walk to Balboa Theater. Interesting backstory - go there to find out.
