  I am not giving any higher stars to this place. The food is always great bit the morning staff needs to work on customer service skills. Also staff needs to work on taking better phone orders and not over charging customers. I will not be back to this location. I can't stand a cappy server.

  I've been visiting the Belknap location for over twenty years and have just recently had occasion to eat at this Lancaster shop. Same great home-style southern comfort food and Texas hospitality - the waitress called me "hon". Come and get it!

  Service was really slow today. We waited quite a while before they came to take our order. But as usual the food was delicious and they did make one appearance to refill our drinks. So definitely not five stars today.

  Portions are very generous and appropriate for the price. Giant cinnamon rolls, outstanding desserts and home cooked meals that remind me of dinner back home. The staff is the best! They treated everyone like family. We visit the location @ East Loop 820 & Lancaster. Dessert to go is a must.

  If you love a family style diner, this is the place for you. All of the wait staff was nice, they were quick to take care of us. The food was delicious. I ordered an omelette, which is made with 3 eggs. It was one of the best omlettes I've ever had. The biscuit that comes with it was really soft and fluffy. The gravy is good. The grits too. Hash browns we're really good, nice and crispy. All in all, a good place to eat. Also, lots and lots of desserts to choose from. Definitely check this place out.
