Great place to take kids on the weekend. There's plenty to do and lots to eat. The Phoenicia deli is a block away so you can grab an amazing picnic lunch and enjoy the lawns. I loved walking done the oak avenue. The trees have been there since the early 1900's when this was an affluent area. There's also plenty of benches so bring a book and have a lazy afternoon.

Beautiful area. Dog parks were nice and clean but not very big. The whole park was very clean but on top of that the people there were very helpful and nice. Police were more than happy to talk to us and help us out. The music venue there seems to be a lot of fun! The lawn was well maintained and bug space.

Very nice little park just outside of the George r brown convention center. Me and my team rested here during lunches at a robotics championship at the convention center and it’s a very clean park and had a lot of different things to do. They also held a party here after and the facility was able to handle the thousands of people that attended.

This place is not like any other park. It has so many things to do. And it being near the center of downtown Houston it is very packed at all times. Biking isn't the best thing to do here since it's just to many people. Now one major complaint is the way the staff has been since the Pokemon era. Since then the staff here has been rude and quick to rush people away after the park closes. The parking is also expensive and hard to find. But the events are worth the hassle.

It is awesome and beautiful...something for everyone....as long as you live in downtown Houston or you can afford the outrageous parking charges. I can see where ALL of our tax dollars were spent instead of helping those of us who have been flooding for years and have lost our homes because the city spent our money to benefit the few... instead of protecting the many. We may not have homes but we have pretty venues for everyone else to enjoy.
