I'm giving two stars because I honestly love their food. You can't beat their queso, and that's coming from a Texan. But if you say you're open until 11 pm, don't close the kitchen at 9:30 pm. I walked a mile here because I live downtown, thinking I'd be able to eat. But no, over an hour and a half before closing your kitchen is closed? Great food, okay service. Will consider coming back.

The customer service was really bad. My friend order enchiladas that came with the works. When they brought the enchiladas nothing on top or side. He asked for the guacamole and sour cream and the waiter got attitude and said he wud bring it out. Dave waited for 10 minutes. So he got up and ask the waiter again. At this time he said he would send the manager. This guy comes up real confrontational. Can Dave just get sour cream and guacamole as it said it came wit. Stale chips too and rest of food not so good

Great place to eat Mexican food at 16th st Mall. Great food and service. Micheladas and margaritas are my favorite here! Never had to wait for a table. Service is as great in the bar. Last time was here for New Years and they offered New Years hats, necklaces, etc samples of tequila too! You don’t wait long for your food to arrive so for me that’s a plus! Good portions and delicious Mexican food! Closest it can get!

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I travel to Denver 1-2x/month and come to Diego’s every trip if I can. It’s not super busy at night during the week. Even so, the staff is really friendly and attentive. The margaritas are excellent and the food comes out unbelievably fast. If Mexican is a go-to comfort food for you, I can’t fathom how you’d have a bad meal or bad experience here. Jocelyn and her family know what they’re doing. I hope they’re a Denver mainstay for years to come.

Server Jocelyn was amazing, and such a refreshing change of pace from others that I have had in the past. The bartenders were great! The drinks were on point and the service was excellent! Sean made sure that we wanted for not. It's an amazing place to spend a night. Whether that night be chill or more exciting
