  My daughters doctor is a good doctor. The staff there however. Two different incidents have occurred that are both upsetting and unsettling. The lack of care towards patients(children) is deplorable. So we had our 1 year olds appt set for MONTHS. ANd the day before the appointment I got a phone call stating the doctor is away on vacation and won’t be back for a week. Which is cool. Drs deserve vacations. But calling a patients mother the day before when she’s already rearranged her schedule to be there on the following day is ridiculous. And then after they cancelled didn’t try to reach out to reschedule the appointment. I had to call back for 4 weeks before someone finally scheduled the appointment after being rude to me when I said I was frustrated it’s been a month and I had to get upset and be frustrated on the phone for them to finally call me back to schedule her appointment only to be met with more attitude instead of understanding of where my frustrations lie. Thennnnnnn I called after hours because my daughter was super sick(after I had called both Kaiser and sutter advice nurses and was told I couldn’t ask them anything because my child isn’t a patient. Even though she was born at sutter.) So I was forced to call my daughters primary.. And they said we will get with the doctor and call you back SOON. This was Friday. I got a call Monday. I told the person on the phone this was an emergency as my child had been throwing up for no apparent reason. and then asked who else I could call in the meantime. She didn’t give me anything and said the dr will be calling me back. And the call I got on Monday wasn’t even with my daughters doctor. It was someone else. Patient care coordination is super important. And your staff needs training on just that. Honestly I think it’s time to maybe start looking for another doctor for my child. Because I don’t trust these employees to handle my child with the care and comfort she needs.

  I’ve been a patient of them since I was 9 years old and they have always treated me really well and took care of me. They’re really good with kids and I love the staff. Definitely recommend to anyone.

  Staff was very friendly. Dr. Ryan is very good with kids. He takes his time to explain and answer any question plus he has an excellent sense of humor.
