::My Mother Dorothea passed away on March 10, 2017. I preplanned all of her arrangements which by the way I highly recommend. From the moment I stepped into the Di Donato Funeral Home I immediately felt like part of the family, everyone from Carl and his wife to his daughters were so helpful and caring in each and every way! I worked with Laurie the most and she is just terrific. I changed a few things and it was never a problem. I also wanted to add that the morning of the funeral we were picked at my home by limo and brought to the funeral home before going to the Church walking into the funeral home we were greeted by Laurie and the gentlemen that were pall bearers and the funeral director not to mention the organist that plays inside the funeral home, it adds such beauty to what would be a somber day. I cannot tell all of you out there in the Hudson Valley when it comes time to select a Funeral Home for yourself or loved ones you absolutely should trust the Di Donato Funeral Home with all your Funeral needs the staff is all friendly and they care like it's one of there own, you all will not be sorry. On behalf of myself and my family many thanks to the Di Donato family for your compassion, kindness and real concern you ALL gave to us during an extremely difficult time. I will never forget any of you. Fondly, Tom Motz and Family

::Dishonor of My Loved One – Carl Di Donato of the Di Donato Funeral Service, abused the memory of my loved one, who served America with Honor, and Valor. I called Mr. Di Donato one summer to get my uncles veteran grave marker that sat in Mr. Di Donato's garage for 14 years, to install it on his grave. Upon my arrival to the Funeral Home all the doors were locked and the Funeral Home appeared to be vacant. I was then forced to call Mr. Di Donato on the telephone. I had to go up the road to make the call. I called Mr. Di Donato anwserd the phone he told me the marker was there and it was ready to be picked up. I went back to the Funeral Home to find that Mr. Di Donato did not even have the decency to hand me my loved ones Veteran Marker. Mr. Di Donato stune it like garbage in between the outer doors of the Funeral Home. I thought that was very rude, and wrong. I thought that he (Mr. Di Donato) was ver direspectful to my loved ones memory, and life. Considering the sighn infront od the Di Donato Funeral Home was Painted by the very person he was disrespecting. It is for this reason I say CONSUMER BEWARE.. Mr. Di Donato did this to my family. What do you think he will do to yours?
