This is always a fun trip and full of activities . I highly recommend a visit to Dey Mansion Located here in Wayne, Passaic County, NJ. Guides are very knowledgeable and always make every visit very interesting. This is a great day trip for families.Dey Mansion is currently open year-round with guided public tours Wednesday through Sunday. Β Washington's bedroom and office are showcased. Original paint colors, some floor boards and a handful of original pieces belonging to the Georgian style home can be found. The window glass is a reproduction of glass from the period complete with waves and bubbles. Other artifacts while not original to the house are from the middle to later half of the 1700's. You must visit, great part of American History, They also hold different events, check Facebook Events! You will not regret it. Always a wonderful experience.. Located right next to Preakness Valley Golf course! Beautiful in the the Spring and summer months

Great place to visit, especially with the guide we had. She helped us understand what we were seeing along with stories from that time. We spent an hour here. Great for family with children just getting acquainted with early American history.
