::I received a call on Friday 9/23 that my daughter was finally able to be scheduled after a ten month wait. I called back Monday 9/26 and left a voicemail. A few days go by I called the same number again (direct line to a woman working in the dept) and again no one answered. Finally I looked up the general number to developmental pediatrics and the same lady answered and said she had given the apt to someone else and now it will be at least three more months. I called back NEXT BUSINESS DAY and she had already given the apt away? She left no indication in her message to me that she'd give it away that quickly. I am so, so disappointed and frustrated. There needs to be a better protocol in place to give parents at least a day to respond before giving their apt away. Plus I called her multiple times and in nine days she never once called me back I had to catch her at their general department number.

::We were stationed at Fort Carson and couldn't get a doctor in Colorado Springs to save our soul. We reached out to this clinic on our own. It took awhile because of the waitlist but also we had to wait for approval of the military. Once our son got in, his doctor (Dr. Friedman), the case worker (Sarah) and the staff have been amazing! They worked extremely hard to make sure he is getting the medical and services he needs. I see some people complaining about the wait, I advise them to never go to Kennedy Krieger that waitlist is always 3 years long! There are waitlist, even for waivers and services outside of the hospital as well.

::Don’t let the other reviews deter you. Yes, we were on a wait list for over 1 year and the wait was agonizing, but when calling around to several Devel Pediatricians the wait was the same everywhere. Once an appointment was available it was WELL worth the wait. The nurses were curtious and responsive, the physician knowledgeable, and their diagnosis/treatment were accurate and helpful. This department helped change the trajectory of our child’s health and education. Forever grateful for the people in this office!

::This place is ridiculous. I have called in numerous occasions only to be told different waitlist times. From 1 year to 4-7 months to we will call you back tomorrow and schedule you ASAP. I never received a cal back and have had my daughter in the “waitlist” since September 2018. What a joke. Don’t bother even trying with this place. We have decided to make the journey to the CAN clinic at UCLA for answers and help. I would give zero stars if I could. Please don’t wait for this place to get back to you. They often misdiagnose children because they are TOO overwhelmed with patients and rush them through their appointments. Run as fast as you can from this facility!!!!!

::As bad or worst as the lowest of low used car lots!! A complete circus! Started contacting this place via their online website to schedule an appt and complete ppw in November 2017. Finally recd ppw in early January and was told 2 months waiting list and of course they couldn’t schedule anything without having ppw completed. Completed ppw and sent in referral... waiting for my appt... Recd a letter in the mail (not a phone call, or email) a letter telling me they have recd my ppw and would be approx 6-8 months from then before an appt could be scheduled! So we called to complain and was told 8-12 months!? Like seriously!? In the mean time.. I reached out and connected with campus in Springs for what I hoped would be a shorter waiting period. Left a voicemail with ALL of the information. Recd returned call and could tell right away that she had not even looked at my sons file! Asks me all of the same questions as if I’ve never even called. We manage to get past point and she tells me that the Springs campus is different than the Aurora campus and talks to me as if somehow I knew all of the differences and what I needed. Reminded her that was the first time her and I spoke and she’d need to be a bit more specific and forthcoming with the details. We get past all of that (even though I still do not 100% understand the differences as I asked for the same exact type of testing before) she asks me if there was an email address where she could send ppw and of course she CANNOT SCHEDULE AN APPT WITHOUT HAVING PPW COMPLETED. OMG! Are you serious!? I explained to her that I have already completed ALL of my sons ppw for the testing I am trying to schedule an appt for!! She tells me they have an entirely different set of ppw and reminds me again that she can’t schedule an appt without having ppw completed. I told her I was not happy with the entire process.. that it was a joke and let her know i would be filing a complaint!
