  Performed a procedure never followed up with family disappeared afterward. Was told he would follow up shortly later after they realized he didn't show up....never showed up later. Poor communication as well as other issues.

  Ridiculous - if there was a negative rating I would have used it. I am a patient at Dr. Mehta's as well as the heart rehab. My comments are not regarding the expertise or service of those in his office but more so the service afterwards. Special regards to the billing departments of his office as well as the hospital . The billing department as well as the hospital expectation for patients to understand their structure and what their responsibilities are is relentless. I would not recommend dealing with this hospital or the staff unless the need of care dictates. The customer service and assistance is the worst that I've seen - and I'm a 20+ year veteran. This hospital is not representative of my community (which I do pay taxes for) let alone Texas: now that this hospital has had building reconstruction it should consider management restructuring.
