  I'm a fan of using Amtrak, but this station is in need of a renovation. The space is relatively small, parking is limited, and it generally feels outdated.

  Very clean and spacious, customer agent is friendly. Nothing here to snack on maybe they don't allow food.

  Not a Grand Station The Detroit Amtrak Railroad Station is a very minimalistic railway destination. No WiFi, no coffee shop, and no vending machines. However, there is a clean restroom. The waiting area is basic with a nice flat screen television. There is a security guard on duty. And the elevator is great if you have heavy luggage.
