::Stunning view and ambiance with amazing food is what i would call about this place... They serve Asian Fusion menu. It is located in 15th floor of "The Nine's". We went during the happy hours

::Wow Wow, I'm hard to impress by restaurants. This was one of the most memorable experiences with my gf that I've had in a restaurant. The level of creativity is very remarkable. I can be very picky with food, since I'm not that bad of a cook which sometimes I feel like I could pull this off sort of thing with some restaurants but with Departure Hell No! After getting out of the elevator and walking through the layout. The vibe is like a spaceship, hence the name Departure and then you're lifted off, with a feeling of being seated in first class, year 2050. So neat and unique, it sets the bar high, especially the added rooftop bar and balcony, to take in Portland's downtown and skyline. I do want to say I would highly recommend the Chef's plate, but it does come with a price tag that wasn't specifically stated to us as per person but oh well. I do want to say thanks to the very exceptional staff. Try it out..

::Good food, very noisy, quite expensive. If you have not been here, it is a different and interesting restaurant. All food is served to share. Food--4*, some wonderful and some just good. Atmosphere--3*, they need some softness to absorb the sound--you can barely hear your companion(s) across the table. Value--3*, servings are pretty small for the prices. Overall--4*, it is still a fun place to go.

::The view is amazing, the staff is amazing. I knew this place was going to be expensive, we did the tasting menu and a couple of the 10 dishes blew our mind but it didn't quite justify the price tag. If I went back I would not do the tasting menu. Although the coconut rice at the end was fantastic and I would definitely get that again, and the scallops we're also another wonderful dish.

::Omg. The best sushi in Portland. Best gourmet high-end Asian food period. But still totally affordable. Perfect was a wonderful date night or the ultimate place to take people. The power greens salad was the best salad I've ever had in my life. The chef knows and creates his sauces like no other chef.
