  For the last 6.5 years, I have received stellar care from Dental Associates of Northern Virginia (Alexandria). Dr. Julia Lokitis, with her dental assistants and office staff, have rendered me every courtesy, bit of patience and professionalism, in serving my needs. Going to the dentist can be traumatic, but I am never anxious or worrisome at an upcoming appointment. Heartily recommend this caring dental practice.

  My dentist of 30+ years retired and transferred his beloved patients to Dr. Lokitis. I was resistant at first just because I'd been under his care all of my adulthood. But let me tell you...this lady is 5star fabulous!!! Exceptional chair side manor, timely, calming, and quality workmanship!!! She's gifted and that's hard to find these days. Yep! I pray she keeps practicing for at least the next 30 years!!!!!

  The level of care my 94-year young mother-in-law receives is superb. Dr. Lokitis and staff are attentive to mom’s needs and concerns, and we never feel rushed out the door. Highly recommended.

  Dr. Lokitis is fabulous! She has a warm personality, and she is a great dentist who shares her knowledge about dental care to ensure I make well informed decisions about my dental needs.

  Prejudice, receptionist passed me forms to fill out with no instructions, white female patient came in behind me and received detailed information about filling out her forms, dentist not upfront with me about findings, acting assistant used same dirty gloves, despite touching different equipment for preparation of xrays, acting assistant provided hygiene education per the dentist's instructions in an extremely demeaning tone and as if I was a child, acting assistant asked if I wanted to be flossed with annual cleaning, which is normal procedure with annual cleaning in the past, not offered flouride by dentist or acting assistant, which is normally offered for fee in past, but offered by dentist with education to white male being serviced next to me, spoken to in a very sarcastic, humiliating, and dismissive manner by dentist and acting assistant to name a few. I will never go back to this office or any affiliates and have been going to this office for approximately 7 years. Notably, my insurance is welcome by any dentist, so these unacceptable behaviors do not have to be tolerated from the dentist or acting assistant. ...Wrong patient.
