::Been there more than once. Staff is very conscientious and attentive. Admin desk is very organized and friendly. Saw different DMDs each time and both were candid, practical, and did very good work. I've had bad BAD experiences at other places and I highly recommend this practice. (I think the name Dent-Al Smiles is utterly STUPID but don't judge a medical office by the corporate name). 5 stars easy.

::DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. VERY POOR QUALITY OF CARE. My husband I had a terrible experience at Dent-Al Smiles of Shadyside. I would avoid this office at all costs! My husband received a filling from a dentist who was talking the whole procedure to the hygienist and not paying attention. He caused major damage to my husbands's tooth an he now has to get a root canal. We have of course switched dentist. Another terrible problem was that the main dentist was AWOL for six months. When my husband showed up for an appointment with the dentist, no office staff had even bothered to let him know the dentist was out of the country by rescheduling the appointment. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. VERY POOR QUALITY OF CARE.

::After Dr. Malvin sold his practice to Dent-Al Smiles, the service was not up to par within the office. From poor office mismanagement to poor professional dental care. However, I am very please to say that the service that I have been receiving now is superior. The staff is very professional, friendly and concerned. I am very happy that I remained with them as a patient. I can not speak enough about the improvement and level of professionalism that now exists. I recommend this dental office for any one that seeks dental care. Keep up the superior work staff!

::I was talking to a nice receptionist trying to explain my insurance situation and he put the manager on to answer questions he couldn't. The manager came on and asked me a question and as soon as I started to answer, she cut me off and told me, with attitude, that what I was saying isn't true. She didn't even listen to what I said and when she started talking about something completely different than what I just said, that was it. I can't believe they quoted me over $7,000 and then didn't listen to a word of what I said, got attitude with me and inadvertently called me a liar!
