  I've come here for 12 years, and I'm sorry to say I'm stopping as of today. I've always had a wonderful experience with Jolene, unfortunately that stopped when I got Theresa. She pretty much spent a lot of time talking me out of a hairstyle I wanted and made me super nervous about dying my hair. On top of that while everyone else was having a conversation, she spent her time glaring at me. Once she finished with the hair style- which to her credit was good- she took me to the back room to take a photo of my hair. I did so to be a good sport, and I honestly wasn't going to write a review, but unfortunately, she wasn't quiet enough when she whispered to her friend "I'm so glad that's over." I wanted to feel beautiful and confident, but I left feeling like a monster. I guess my anxiety must have annoyed her, and I get that, but maybe wait to gossip about me until I'm gone? I've already booked an appointment at a different hair salon to get the look I actually wanted.

  I made an appointment for a curly haircut with D(Diane). I had been there once before, when I started the curly routine. D was the stylist recommended with the Devachan training. She was fine the first time, enough for me to return. My hair was not in good shape then. But now, 8 months later, it is much better. I washed the 3 step method in the morning and did nothing else to my hair. The reason I'm going back now is for a trimming/shaping, plus whatever D will tell me about my hair/method. We talk a few minutes about my hair, she cuts, then says to me that I really don't need it washed again. I said OK, I guess not. I asked her about a troubling part in the back. She tells me I have a cowlick, and I need to clip it up. She shows me while I hold a mirror up in front of me. I understand what I have to do. I'm finished! I go to pay. I'm told $50. I say to the receptionist that it was only a 5 minute haircut. She says, well it was a curly cut and that's the price. I gave her 3-$20's. She asks if I want 2-$5's or a $10 change. I had to think a minute. Am I tipping D $5 or $10. I realize stylist rely on tips, so I left her the $10. Then, when I get to my car I see that my parking meter had only gone 19 minutes, I was taken! It was about $10 a minute in the salon, plus my walking to and from my car. Than was no Devachan treatment!
