  I love the concept and the variety of wine and bourbon making it easier to find some of our favorites. And the people responding via email are very friendly. However, what's terribly disappointing is the lack of updates on partial shipments (just shipping a few bottles without saying anything about the others), the delays on shipments and the "signature required" on every shipment (especially when they don't arrive as planned; even per the tracking number). I waited most of the day on a Saturday (for the required signature) for a package that never arrived. Great idea, not so great execution.

  This is a great spot with plenty of hard to find whiskey. It's far from home but we'll worth going to when I'm in the area.

  I was so excited to buy a Bottle of Blantons Silver. I tried to call this store quite a few times to ask about the Blantons. No one ever answered. The website showed a brand new looking bottle. I took the plunge and paid $650 plus $46 to have it overnighted to my business. The package showed up the next day. Once I opened it I noticed that it was leaking. The bottles wax ring was broken and there was bourbon on the labels. I then noticed that the bottles label wasnt even close to the pic on the website. It was sun faded and almost no silver on the top label. I reached out to De Wine Spot. The offered me $50 off or to return it. Thats where the problems started. I decided to return the item. It was nowhere even close to the picture or the item I thought I would receive. And leaking and a broken seal meant that I cant verify that the bourbon inside was real or even ok to drink. I went to the the local PO with the package in hand. They told me NO we cant ship alcohol. Then I went to UPS the said NO we cant ship alcohol. Fed X said NO. I now have a broken seal on a leaking $700 bottle of Bourbon that I cant drink or even display. Im bummed I thought with these reviews there would have been a better outcome. I would never come back here and buyer beware you cant ship alcohol with out a license so there is no legal way to return items. Also they wouldn't send me a pick up tag to make this right. Stay away!!!!!

  The people here are super friendly and super helpful with recommending new things. They make no judgements if you're trying to grab something cheap or go for something more fancy + pricy. They also do a ton of tastings of things they carry so if you frequent there enough you'll have a good idea of what you like already.

  A gem! Best local wine shop in Brooklyn. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and while the store is small, the wine selection is great - many choices, from good value table wines to expensive bottles for a special event. And thankfully, there's no junk labels on the shelves! There's a good selection of hard to find whiskeys, too. Prices are very reasonable (less than Costco), and they're open until 10.
