  Jamie DID screwed up my color really badly! Then SHE DID have the balls to say it was the lighting in the salon! She didn't even check the color before it was washed. I called Eric the owner the next day and he didn't bother to call me back. 600 dollars later for a half head of highlights ( this was for all the process' I had to undergo with two salons to get my hair fixed including all charges and tips). and yes I was pissed! I would never ever recommend these amateurs ! Terrible experience . .. This is my experience others may have had better luck and thats ok ... ... .. I gave them a shot and it was an EPIC fail ... horrid colorist and poor ownership handling of customer service. Enter at your own risk!!

  I would just like to point out that the prior review is absolute blasphemy. They charge $80 for a half head of highlights. They all do amazing work. If you were to spend $650 dollars at that salon you would need to get a Keratin Treatment, a full head of highlights, a glaze, a haircut, with flatiron which would amount to roughly $415. There is truly no need to lie. It’s one thing if someone is unhappy, it’s an entirely different story to flat out lie. #justsaying

  I purchased a groupon for balayage and a haircut for around $100 yet when I called to make an appointment the receptionist informed me that on top of the cost of the groupon I would have to pay an additional $65 color milk charge and another $25 for glaze. I have gotten balayage before at other salons and have never had to pay these additional charges - everything is already included in the total cost of the balayage treatment. I was looking forward to trying out this salon but as I was planning to only spend around $100 and now the cost will be closer to $200 I am going to try to return the groupon. I am very dissapointed and feel very mislead by the advertising - there was nothing even in the fine print about these additional charges.

  I have always heard great reviews about this salon, and I agree! Yesterday my salon canceled my appointment and I called De Lis to see if they could accommodate me. I requested color and a blow-out. My hair is PERFECT! I could not be more pleased. The staff is outstanding and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is relaxing. I highly recommend De Lis Salon in Manhasset.
