::Nothing but headache after headache dealing with the workers. Service with a snarl seems to be in the case workers job description. I have given up trying to deal with tbem- which may be their goal. Still waiting to receive card 8 weeks after getting approval. No results after after 4 follow up visits. e

::Very rude individuals. The lack of care for the people they give benefits is disgusting. Repeatedly claim they don't receive the forms that are sent to them. From personal experience all I have to say is if you can avoid it don't bother. Unfortunately this is seemingly the only way to receive help with food, heat, among other things.

::I am in a bad way and unfortunately applied for temporary help food on line and have been bullied, interrogated, and declined benefits during phone conversations with income of approx. $400 a month. I brought a pile of documented proof to the office and sat there for 2.5 hours waiting to meet with worker's manager who called me on a PUBLIC phone in a room filled with people and refused to meet with me and instead questioned me excessively on my future ability to earn money. This office needs to be reported to NYS and I am pursuing a formal complaint as I have been declined benefits completely unjustified. It is humiliating enough to have to apply for help and to be treated like an animal is disgusting.
