  I have been going to this dental practice for more than 20 years. The offices are small but well-maintained and conveniently located near a Metro station. I've seen the same hygienist, Amy, for many years. She is kind and friendly and takes good care of my teeth -- she even remembers that I don't like the suction. The front office staff are very helpful and have kept me updated on their procedures when I switched insurance providers. I have seen three different dentists here and they have all been professional and courteous. They haven't tried to talk me into any unnecessary cosmetic procedures, and I still get sent home with a new toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste.

  I tried many dentists when I first moved to DC before finding Dr. Balshaw. I am so happy to have found Dr. Balshaw. Unlike many other dentists, he doesn't recommend unnecessary dental work to churn up the bill. His hygienists are excellent as well. I don't like the instrument that many dentists and hygienists now use (the thing that sounds like a drill), and I'm nappy that my hygienist (Aileen) cleans my teeth the old fashioned way, by hand, and does a really thorough job as well. Top notch dental office!

  Dr. Balshaw's office is conveniently located within walking distance from my place of work. His team is courteous and effective. Tyrone makes the scheduling and co-payment process smooth, Aileen (dental hygienist) has the gentlest touch in the industry, my mouth feels amazing when she cleans my teeth. Dr. Balshaw takes the sustainable approach to keeping solid healthy teeth intact. He's all about longevity and the healthiest approach to a beautiful smile!
