::I have never been one to shy away from the dentist-- actually, I kind of like it (weird, yes) --but I'm also a creature of habit. Thus, I've been in Austin for two years now, but continued to travel the 180 miles back and forth to DFW twice a year just to continue seeing my dentist of 20+ years. Finally, I asked him to recommend a dentist here in Austin, and he said he had a friend and classmate here in town, Dr. David Gordon. I let time get away from me, but finally made an appointment and went to his office for the first time two days ago. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted-- by first name, no less --by Sindi at the front desk and felt welcomed as though I was a regular, familiar patient. A few minutes later I was greeted by Becca, Dental Hygienist, who then took me to a consulting room where we must have talked for half an hour. I felt as though I was having a conversation with a friend I'd known for a long time as we discussed all things dental-- current, history, what comes next --and a few things College Station. Never had so much attention and attention to detail or felt so comfortable, even at my former dentist, as I did here. Actual appointment procedures were relaxing, dare I say enjoyable? and I felt I was being attended to by people who actually cared and wanted the best for me. Dr. Gordon himself could not have been nicer, friendlier, or more professional. I saw him for all of ten minutes yet I felt instantly at ease, and confident that my dentist in DFW had sent me to the right man here in Austin. Am I gushing? Don't mean to. But knowing how most people fear the dentist, I want to set those fears aside. This team is fantastic!

::Rebecca gave me the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Dr. Gordon came by introduced himself and we had a little chat after he checked my face for oral cancer and mouth/ jaw health. Kelsey, Rebecca, Dr Gordon all were super friendly, warm and clearly go out of their way to make you comfortable, which I appreciate because after having a couple really bad dental experiences as a child I had some anxiety that immediately hits when I sit in a dentist’s chair. I pre booked my next cleaning 🙂

::When my previous dentist retired 13 years ago, a dear friend highly recommended Dr. Gordon. She said he was the best and she was not wrong. On top of being an excellent dentist, he and all of his staff are incredibly kind, compassionate, and helpful. I genuinely look forward to each appointment because it's clear they love their work, care about patients, and are great at connecting with and putting people at ease (they get me laughing every visit) which is not something most people can say about dental visits.

::Dr Gordon is great. His staff needs to be recognized as well. Mandi is the best dental assistant i have ever had. She is professional, friendly and 100% on her game every time. Both Jasmin and Sindi who manage the front office couldn't be more friendly or more professional..A++ crew at Dr. Gordon's office.
