  Oil delivery guy could not get his truck down our long, unplowed drive, so he parked on the road and snaked the heavy hose through the woods to our house. Had to trek over rock walla and steep inclines and deep snow. Plus get the hose over the deer fence without damaging it. Very much appreciated on one of those record cold days. This is the kind of attentive service we have regularly received from Downey for nearly 20 years.

  Super rude and unfriendly people! I would rather have my pipes freeze in the winter than buy oil from these nincompoops!!!!

  What's the point of claiming 24/7 service if the person that answers your phone call acts like he's up set your calling to give him your business. Person was very rude. Took my name and number and told me a tech will call me right back. Never received any phone call. Was looking to set up an account since I just bought this house. Now I will be giving my business to another location.

  I would never do business with this company. I was going get oil and propane from them but the rep on the phone couldn't explain how the oil contracts work. So I'm getting oil from another supplier. Downey then wouldn't deliver propane if I didn't have an oil contract with them. So they came and took away the propane I had already paid the seller of the house for- with no warning, no phone call, nothing. They essentially refused to do business with me and then took away the gas I'd paid for without a refund.
