  I've been to so many bike shops over the years and always dreaded the experience as I've often found the staff to be unfriendly and condescending, but that was not the case at all when I stepped into DarkHorse Cycles today. I lost my cleat bolt during a ride and stopped in for a replacement. The people were so nice and friendly and they had me back on the road in no time. I'm so glad I finally found a go-to bike shop!

  These guys are super talented. I have never met someone more knowledgeable and passionate about bicycle mechanics and ergonomics as Mike. I brought my bike in for a tune-up and Mike helped me with a better fit and explained how various parts like the stem and seat post could be modified for a more comfortable, safer ride. Anytime I want to invest in cycling, I'll come to Dark Horse to see what Mike recommends.

  I had to get my bike in for a proper maintenance so I figured that I would try Dark Horse Cycles. I found there service good and the bike was running well after the work. I found the owner was knowledgeable with his product and I enjoyed a good tor of the store. I recommend them for service and will consider them when I need to replace my current bike.

  To the previous post, the owners dog did actually pass away recently... I've been stopping by for the last few years for odds and ends, emergency parts/apparel and generally just to talk bikes. The two guys that run the place live and breath bicycles. Just purchased my dream bike from them and it went flawlessly, they even showed up early on a Saturday morning so I could pick it up before work. I highly recommend stopping in, I will be hanging around here for a long time.
