  Best pulled pork sandwich I've had in my life! Ordered with a side of fried okra & mushrooms, which were also amazing. Our waitress was friendly and we were served our food within minutes of ordering. If you're in the area, make sure to stop here!

  I would have given a 5 but the wait time was ridiculously too long. I Had guest from Florida and we saw this while at a gas station n decided to go but we were on a time limit. We had other arrangements at 6pm we got there around 445pm n we didn't get our food until 530 n that's only because one of the waiters asked how long we were waiting. We ended up getting to go plates because we had to rush and leave BUT the food was good and worth the wait.

  Never again. At a loss for words; how have they stayed open for so long. A native of Decatur, GA and visited for the first time last week. Last minute, I decided we should go here instead of Busy Bees. Angry at myself. I got a veggie plate and my boyfriend got the ribs. Mac n cheese- we decided it was Kraft, lacking seasoning and cheese. Green beans- flavorful. Yams- maybe it was their first time making them. Greens- tender but no flavor. Corn bread- please throw that recipe in the trash, I figured it was a combination of cake mix and cornmeal. Ribs- they were good. Presentation- my boyfriend described it has the plate you eat at the repast, after the funeral. Spot on! I don’t want to pay these prices for paper and plastic ware. Overall, I feel the cooks aren’t skilled and the recipes need some real attention.

  Everything was absolutely delicious. They ran out of greens but we're cooking a batch when I arrived. After my 30 minute wait...it was so worth it. A couple of my ribs were a little tough but very tasty, the black eye peas were delicious along with my yams & cornbread. Overall a great meal!

  I was reading some of these reviews and had to respond. First of all, we have never had to call the police on a patron and we've never argued with a patron about the quality of our food. None of our meat is boiled. Everything is smoked for hours and some like the brisket also tenderize overnight. Our yams are not out of the can and we've upped the flavor on our sides since my sister and I took over on January 1st 2018. I hope this helps those who read the false reviews when they decide to give us a chance. Everything is cooked with love and a smile. Peace and Blessings! Chris
