Went in to pick up my prescriptions, that were placed the day before, according to the Pharmacist they never received the prescription. I called my Doctors office on speaker, and confirmed that in fact the prescription was received and provided a confirmation number. The Pharmacist disregarded it, and claims they never received it. So I know "tech happens" but her whole disposition was very Rude. The Pharm tech was a doll and so helpful. CVS usually cuts my kitties Pheno for her epilepsy, and when the tech went to cut them, The pharmacist made it very clear they don't do that ever. I stated, they always do it for peeky, due to the size of the pill they easily break apart and it waste medication. The Pharmacist smirked at me. I told her she was a horrible Pharmacist. I wouldn't mind but it was a mistake made, and I am not feeling well, and in a bit of pain. A little compassion, and thoughtfulness can go a long way. Beverly is the one pharmacist at CVS on Somerville that is really amazing, thoughtful, helpful, and very caring. It's a shame there isn't more Beverly's there.

Whether Target or CVS the pharmacist have always been the best and I've been going since they first opened even though other pharmacies were more convenient. As far as the store goes, I'm a mom so I frequent stores like Target, Walmart, Stope & Shop, etc. I like the smaller scale of this store and I'm impressed that the store is always well stocked and organized, plus if I forget something I don't feel like I have to trek a mile to the other side of the store! I wish the food market was larger but this is Stop & Shops fault. When the company was expanding the markets this location was banned to dry goods, ice cream and milk only because apparently Stop & Shop leases them the property and wouldn't allow for anything else, fear of competition. I was astounded when I heard this, not only by S&S's pettiness but by the bungled lease negotiations by the Target corporation. Still a very well maintained store with a wonderful staff.
