::My father had to change mds because his previous md moved the office 45 minutes away. The new md made some changes to his medication. There was no problem the first month of the medication change. It was filled correctly without any issues. Then it was time for the refill. He aways calls in his refills and speaks to a live person to avoid any errors. He had to explain to the person he spoke to that he was no longer with the previous md. Everything seemed fine until he went to take the new refill last night and saw it was the old dosage from the previous md. He called this morning and was told to come pick up the correct dose. I went to pick it up for him. Kim, the pharmacy tech stated he owed for the medication I was picking up. I explained the situation and she went on to say , his insurance is paying for the medication and he owes .... I tried again to explain and this time said why would he pay a second time for a medication he received that was wrong? She repeated herself with a rude and very unprofessional way the same thing she said twice already, as if I'm an idiot!! So I asked for the pharmacist. The pharmacist came over and asked if I had the wrong medication which by the way I had been holding in clear sight the entire time with his ID. After giving it to her I asked for the name if the person that I had just dealt with, (Kim). She told me her name but went onto say "you didn't tell her you were returning it". Are you kidding me!!?? No one asked nor did they say it had to be returned. So bottom line. This pharmacy not only gave my father the wrong dosage of medication, they tried to charge him for their mistake, acted like we were stupid, and made excuses for their incompetence. Yes, he is changing pharmacies. I will never go to another cvs again! And for those out there who expect to receive the correct medication, don't go to this CVS.
