  Run of the mill cvs. Nice staff. Not the biggest selection of products though.

  The hours are wrong. The pharmacy opens at 9 o'clock. The staff is strange but never rude.

  This is a pharmacy with the most hard-working Pharmacist I've even seen. I don't know the dude's name but he's there all the time, and ya know what - this is the only pharmacy down South that NEVER messes up my refills and prescriptions. I have about a 50/50 shot with other CVS at Oltorf and Lamar which I can't tolerate. The Pharmacist at the downtown location is extremely cool, treated me and my husband like neighborhood friends which I really really appreciated but if you don't live downtown parking can be inconvenient and our city has a pretty bad homeless problem that centers around downtown. This CVS has good hours, and super friendly staff. It's small enough that I can find my way around, and big enough that it has everything I need plus some extras for when I earn Extrabucks. I'm a huge fan of my CVS coupons because I love the convenience of CVS. It's much faster to get in and out of this CVS than the HEB nearby. And seriously folks - this Pharmacist is just a really hard-working stand-up guy. He makes a really big impact in my everyday health by getting my prescriptions right every time, on time. I have never had a long wait here. In fact, I rarely have any wait at all. It's an excellent experience for me!
