I cant blame the employees, but this place ALWAYS wayyyyyy too understaffed. So while it's no excuse, I can see why the average employee put in a situation where they are CONSTANTLY under duress might 'loose their cool' being faced with a never ending line of justifiably unhappy customers. It's not an exaggeration to suggest this is a classic example of corporate profit margins taking priority over both client AND employee satisfaction. CVS, stop being so damn greedy. Everyone reading this would have a MUCH easier time at a local/privately owned pharmacist.

I unfortunately have to go to this hell hole rather frequently. I hate it with all of my heart. The pharmacy is chronically understaffed. The line is a scientific marvel for no matter what time of day you arrive the line has 9+ people in it. The line is perpetually there, Dr Strange couldn't figure this one out. The entire time you wait in line you get to hear "One Pharmacy call" robotic announcement played every 6 seconds. The staff completely ignores the phone and has somehow gained the superhuman ability to ignore the most irritating noise ever recorded. Anyone who has to go here knows they cannot call ahead as their call will never be answered, as a result half of the line is people who are unsure if their prescription has been filled (hint: it hasn't ) and then they slow the line down more trying to find out when they should return. Heaven forbid you give them your phone number and they will blow your phone up requesting refills for prescriptions you no longer need. May this place fall into a fiery sinkhole of death.

I shop at CVS because it does not sell cigarettes. I use the weekly circular and buy on sale or get Extra Dollars. Every week there are many special deals. I think all the staff are very helpful answering questions showing me where things are making suggestions of how to take advantage of sales and special deals. Melanie in the cosmetic department is the BEST. She offers advice answers all questions has infinite patience with all customers. She demonstrates new products if I ask I recommend CVS I have shopped at CVS stores in many states and at many in northern VA. All the staff have been excellent.

I have to agree with Bonnie. I would also give them 0 stars if I could. It took me 40 minutes to stand in line to pick up a prescription for my wife that had been phoned in by her doctor more than 2 hours before I went there. Then they told me that I couldn't pick it up because they were waiting for the doctor to respond. (Nobody had a clue what the doctor was supposed to respond to.) After arguing with them for more than 10 minutes that the prescription had been called in by the doctor, the finally condescended to give me the prescription. Needless to say all 20 people behind me in line had to wait the entire time we argued over the doctor's call. Then to top it all off, one of my wife's three prescriptions still wasn't ready and they had no idea when it would be ready. AVOID THIS PHARMACY LIKE THE PLAGUE!
