::Restroom was out of order. If I can use the restroom and I'm going to have to drive somewhere else then I'm not going to buy anything here.

::Wow. I live across the street from this location, just moved to Austin, and was simply calling to get 3 Rxs transferred. Keep in mind, I called at 3:10 pm ona Sunday. It’s like the woman who answered (who spoke like she my might be a pharmacist) was trying to chase my business away. I didn’t even intend on picking them the same day and she quickly said “umm, hold on. I’ll be honest, we close at 5 pm. We’re so backed up, we probably won’t get to them today- i still have 3 other transfers before you.” i told her that’s fine, i could pick them up tomorrow or Tuesday even. I reiterated i had RX #s, so i was just looking for someone to write them down and transfer them at their earliest convenience. When that didn’t get me off the phone, she proceeded to ask me what the medicines were and educated me on “federal law” regarding transferred Rxs- none of them were controlled substances (the one that is, i have a hard Rx to bring in for). I didn’t mention to her i was a certified pharmacy technician for 5 yrs in TX, in my previous life. What she was educating me on did not apply to the specific medicine, especially since the transfers were within the state of TX, not across state lines. When i told her they weren’t new RXs and simple refills, she again sighed and responded with “uuuh, ok, well if they’re from Walgreens, you could go to another walgreens in the area.” I informed her i live directly across the street from their location. Why would i want to get in the car and drive somewhere, when i can walk less than 50 yarda to get my medicines? Finally, she says “oh, ok, please hold,” like she’s actually going to grab an RX pad to just write down the damn Rx #s. I ended up hanging up before she got back to the phone because i was REALLY put off by her behavior. Not even attempting this location.

::The pharmacy techs are really helpful. The tech with the short hair helped me find coupons and call my insurance to get my meds covered.

::The staff that helped me were poorly dressed. The guy at the checkout counter had a logo shirt on, but it was horribly stained and in very poor condition. He seemed more concerned at talking to next cashier than acknowledging me. While in the store, the staff that were stocking the shelves were shouting their personal conversation at one another across the isle. Horrible experience!

::Terrible pharmacy. They said my insurance wasn’t good any longer and couldn't full my prescriptions, said that they called and verified it wasn't good, but yet, everywhere else, my insurance is OK. Grrrr!
