::Very bad customer service, my wife had a gift from corporate co workers, very un professional, wanted to exchange for something different, I hade bade experience. For the store this level sales associated must be helpful and polite! Please choose different store to go shop to.

::Let me start off by saying that I was a loyal shopper at Cusp Georgetown for years! I have moved away from DC, and still would come back whenever back in town, because I loved it so much. However, after my last experience in the shop last week, I will NOT be returning. When you walk in, the sales women are eager to assist you (especially if you are dressed well / carrying a higher end handbag), and will help you find what you are looking for. Great! That meant that this time, I bought over 700$ worth of merchandise, without any problems in store. However, one of the items that I purchased was out of stock in my size, so I had it ordered to be delivered to my home in Chicago. After a week, I received an email saying that my package has been delivered - so I checked all around my home and it was nowhere to be found. Considering I don't think it is my responsibility to be the first follow up to FedEx (who shipped it), I called the store. I first spoke to a sales associate who was not only rude, but seemed extremely confused (I'm sorry, but a missing package isn't rocket science). The call was then escalated to the manager, who could truly not have been more rude--she told me that it was "not Cusp's problem" and that she couldn't do anything for me. She didn't even offer me an apology or a sincere tone. The package is still missing, and I have followed up with FedEx - but honestly I am done with Cusp. For as expensive / high end of a store as it is supposed to be, customers should be treated better. Also - what type of store sends expensive merchandise via FedEx without requiring a signature?! it was just a shirt, but what if this was a 2,000$ handbag? I will be happy to take my business to other places in Gtown when I am back - such as intermix. Just remember that if you shop here, they will be so nice to you in store when you're giving them hundreds or thousands of dollars, but any interaction that is involved after you walk out of the store will likely be complete garbage.

::I came to Georgetown looking for a dress to wear to the MET Opera in NYC for my anniversary. I found the perfect Ted Baker dress at this store but ended up not coming back for it because I was so upset by my experience. The good: The selection of apparel cannot be knocked. I really loved the wide variety of dresses and shoes to choose from and how appealing the aesthetics are. Young luxury shoppers heaven. The OK: I came in and went quite a while without being approached by an associate. I even passed many employees that weren't helping anyone before someone approached me. Once I engaged with an associate they were really warm, receptive to my needs, and more than helpful. Loved the dress she picked out for me too! The ugly: I was most definitely profiled in this store. I am a mixed black/white female in her 20's. When I came into this store and looked around through the racks at the front of the store I noticed the security guard watching me. He didn't move the entire 20 minutes I was downstairs. After walking upstairs, at the sales associates recommendation, I noticed the security guard follow me, stay upstairs as long as I was there, and then follow me back down. Additionally, he didn't move again after I came downstairs and I was not out of his site the entire time I was in this very large, two story building. He did this to no one else while I was there. Additionally, a previous CUSP store manager is a coworker at my current job and she informed me that profiling was very common place in this store and that my experience is not in anyway out of the norm. Overall: I would have bought that dress in a heartbeat had it not been for how uncomfortable and offended I was after being followed around. I love luxury fashion and I really wanted a special piece for a special occasion but I won't be coming back here. I ended up going to a small local boutique, finding a beautiful dress of equal quality, and the shop owner always welcomes me in like I'm an old friend. That's the type of place I would like to spend my money.

::the pricing is a little extreme but the quality of the clothes is stunning and they lay out the store well enough to be able to drop in and browse around.
