::I have had 2 incident with Culebra Market twice in the last 30 days the most recent was Mar 20th at approximately 8:25PM. The first incident I was paying for my small list of groceries and the cashier spoke to me in Spanish. I told her " I am sorry I don't speak Spanish". I am Asian but most people think I am Hispanic and speak to me in Spanish until I tell them " I am sorry no espanol"... She looked at me in a snobbish way and ignored me when I asked a question. When she handed me my change she didn't even look at me as if I was not there. I can understand if the store was busy and she was on a rush but I was the only one at the register. Well, last night I visited my local store. I walked in but I cant see anyone in the store. I was the only customer. I went to get my 3 liter coke and went to the register. Well the cashier was not present yet. I then decided that tonight I would have a beer with my dinner the first in about 3 months. I get to the register and I finally see the cashier around the corner mopping the floor. She looks up makes eye contact with me but goes back to mopping the floor. With this second incidents, I wont ever walk into a culebra meet market store. at least not this location at Zarzamora and Guadalupe. This location is only two blocks from me and a walking distant. From now on I will take the short drive to one of two HEB location near me. I am sure they would want another loyal customer.
