  I was fortunate enough to start two separate businesses this year and with the months dwindling down it was time to speak with an accountant regarding my tax return. Rick was outstanding, as he took the time to break down how income taxes work for the business and personal side. He also explained the "self-employment" tax and how it differs from working for someone vs. being your own boss. Provided so much clarity and we will be working together this upcoming tax season.

  I decided to become a freelancer two years ago but was unaware of how much additional work it would be to prepare my tax return.   I've had the pleasure of working with Rick for the last few years after being recommended by a co worker. The tax preparation service that his team provided is light years ahead of the traditional tax franchise. Very knowledgable and are able to answer any questions you have, not just plug numbers in a computer.

  Last year I got married and needed to work with a tax accountant for the first time to determine whether or not it would benefit us to file together or separately.
