::Seems may be closed down. Permanently? So more evidence to support permanent closure. Like other recent reviews, I have found this store is never open when I check while in the mall. Never open during normal hours anymore. For weeks. (I often go through the mall & pass by this store, & occasionally shopped here when they were open.) No public signs posted about permanent closure. Everything looks normal, except never open. Normal closed sign still shows will open at 10(am). (The Horton Plaza Mall has an alarmingly high amount of vacancies, store closures occurring for years, new closures keep happening, & little to no replacements. Seems about half the open stores they used to have. Heading towards becoming a "ghost mall"?) -- (My previous info) On Level 4 of Horton Plaza Mall. New books at discounted prices, also has used books & related like novelty gifts, posters, games, childrens. Discounts are the best part, so if they have it you likely pay less. Only has books in store, & no list of books in stock. Stock is well organized. Many books yet few highly popular books. Seems to be an outlet for remaining books for clearance, so they only have what they are sent by the company. Seems mostly remaining books that did not sell (well). They do get some new items. Lots of books, not superstore size. No list of books in stock. Have to browse what they have currently. Books are well organized. So easy to browse if you know what you want. Some sections more likely to have common or highly popular books. Like classics or literature, large gift books. Several novelty gift or specially packaged items. Posters. Calendars. Large gift books. Some games, Comic books, unusually large selection compared to most book stores I have seen. Many classic issues, mainly seems to be reprints. (I've hardly ever been into them, I'm just saying it's hard not to notice the large section along 1 wall.)

::The sign said they were closed and would be back at 10. It was 1pm on a Tuesday.

::I went there today at 10:15am and the door was locked, the lights were off, and I saw several envelopes and letters on the door -- one of them being a letter notifying them of their power being discontinued. Based on this and a previous review, I think this place is about to close down for good...

::Place seems to be shutting down. Sign said returning at 10am. We waited from 10:20am to 11am and no one showed up

::Just a brilliant bookshop at the top of the shopping centre adjacent to Macy’s off Horton Plaza. A wide selection of books for most tastes, new and used and some foreign language. And we were served by a lovely French lady whom I believe may be the owner. Strongly recommended.
