::Had the most amazing cooking class. We made Chicken Fricassee, Seafood Gumbo, and Bananas Fosters. The food was amazing, the staff are warm and welcoming. You feel like you are in their home hanging out in the kitchen while they are making lunch. We learned all about the difference between Creole and Cajun cooking and the different cultural influences that have shaped the wonderful food of New Orleans. I highly recommend this class and will be back the next time we visit the city.

::This was our 2nd visit to Crescent City Cooks. We shopped in their store during our stay in New Orleans January 2017, and it was then that I saw they also offered cooking classes. I love NoLa cuisine and thought if I ever had the opportunity to return, I would sign up for the class. Thankfully my husband and I did return last week and we signed up for a Demonstration with Lynn. We had a wonderful time! The dishes Lynn cooked for us were some of our favorites...Jambalaya, Chicken and Andouille Gumbo, and Bread Pudding with Raisins & Rum sauce! (each class differs, so check their calendar and pick your own favorite). The room for the class was very spacious and comfortable. A relaxed, casual and homey setting. The recipes for each dish are provided at the beginning so you can follow along and make notes as you go. Lynn was very entertaining. She is a Louisiana native with lots of family stories and knowledge of Louisiana history. We learned so much from her about the culture of NoLa and the flavors in its cuisine. We enjoyed full servings of each dish, plus a freshly made Praline to take home! (And 10% discount on any items in their shop!) We would definitely recommend this to anyone.

::We had the best family experience! Lynn was so personable and friendly, we felt like we were in our own family kitchen. The class was very hands on so our children were captivated in the participation of cooking the meals. The Barbque Shrimp and Bananas Foster were bursting with flavor. This is a must do activity for the a group whether it is family or friends👍🏻

::I just got done with a cooking demonstration and absolutely loved it! We were watching the chef make bread pudding, jambalaya, and chicken and sausage gumbo! All of the food was well described step by step and tasted delicious! I recommend this class to every single person visiting New Orleans! The chef was very charismatic and just made the experience so enjoyable! I'm so glad I decided to sign up while my husband was in a conference! Now I can cook the recipes when I get back home for my family!
