::The only real problem I have is how expensive all the hotels in the area are. Once you get over that, the Courtyard is quite comfortable and located in the midst of the local attractions. The hotel features a restarant and bar which makes it convenient after a long day of sightseeing, but there is no lack of restaurants around the hotel either. I recommend skipping renting a car and just use public transportation or shared rides.

::This is the second time I have stayed at this Courtyard and I love it just as much this time around. It is a great hotel with a great location, staff, and reasonable rates. Highly recommended if you are in town for business for one night, or one week.

::The room was nice. Very friendly staff as you walk in. The only issue we had was the valet parking didn't come out after we had been sitting looking lost for 5 minutes. The hotel was very close to everything which allowed us toale the most out of our extended weekend trip.

::Nice, renovated hotel very near to George Washington University, Department of Interior, etc. A bit of a walk from a metro station, but great access to White House and western parts of the park system in DC. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and friendly. Nice part of town. Has a small courtyard between the wings (looks mostly like a smoking area). Overall, I would stay again.

::This was my third time staying here. The first two times (2014 & 2015) were fine but this last visit was not so great. We initially stayed in room 400. My 10 year old niece was going to sleep on the sofa bed, however when we pulled it out we noticed what appeared to be dark red (blood?) stains at the foot of the mattress. Also, the underside of the couch had a lot of food crumbs and paper/candy wrappers, and it was obviously not clean. Then one night we were awoken by a fire alarm and the smell of smoke at 1 am. I called downstairs and was told it was only an alarm in one room. I then recognized the distinct odor of the smoke. Apparently the people across the hall were smoking weed and set off an alarm. The front desk promptly moved us to another room which was nice.
