  County installed a drip & sprinkler system in our back yard in Brooklyn. It works extremely well.

  I've had nothing but trouble when County Irrigation winterizes my system. Split hoses (that are buried deep down) and broken heads from freeze damage for the last three years! I'm going with another company. I'm done.

  One who answers a phone to any business will either increase or decrease ones business. A phone call to County Irrigation decreased their business by 1. About ten years ago County Irrigation installed my sprinkler system. Since the beginning there were some dry spots where the system didn't reach but I made do with it. This year because of the dry spell it became more apparent. I called to say that I would like someone to come to my home to give me an estimate to reconfigure the system so that the strip by the street would be watered. I was told that I was going to be charge $75 for a half hour, $100 per hour after that or $25 per 15 minutes to have someone come to my house for an estimate. When I tried to clarify that I needed an estimate to improve my system, I was told, with an attitude, that since I didn't use their company to open the system this year, I would be charged hourly. I told her that she is forcing me to use another company her response was, "go ahead". Customer service is key for any successful company, and starts with the voice on the phone and what can be done to meet the customers needs. I wasn't asking for anything "free" I was looking to use their company to tweak the original system, an estimate that brings in revenue to them. I wish I didn't have to give 1 star for this to be posted. I'd give 0 stars.
